However, we still have our 'extra classes' at these following times:

Wednesday (9.06) -8AM-9AM

The season of stress and ~~pain~~ has welcome us in a not so fashionable way.

Firstly, we didn't get to study for much of the day ~~thanks to the Hadrah competition~~ :D

Secondly, there will be no English extra class next week (4.5) because Miss Sia has to go somewhere for something.

Thirdly, homeworks... Chemistry, Physics(?)...

EARTH DAY!!!
I would like to say THANK YOU for those who participated in the recycling-thingie. :D

By the way, there was a movie called 'Home' yesterday. It is a movie about the environment and what we did (and still doing) to it and it's from a bird's eye view. The movie also has stunning background and an artistic feel.

On a fortunate ~~and somehow hyper~~ day, the banner (and I almost typed bandanna) was finished and successfully nailed/stapled to the back of the class ~~which is kinda a pity since its at the back~~. It was a day to celebrate.

During break, everyone sang a 'Happy Birthday' song to the birthday girl, Zimah, who's turned 17 this year.

Additional things that happened today: there was no physics, learned a new topic for Biology and everyone had their respected ECAs.

The End of the First Week of the Second Term.

Good Evening everyone, hopefully everyone is very happy today (though a tad bit tired).
So, as I am very bored and my house really smells like smoke.. T_T, I will do my best to do a summary of this week's activities.

No extra class for this week, (except for A. Maths). Which is really good since we were really TIRED
Learned hockey for P.E
Exercise (stretching) during Maths. XD

I really don't know if we should wear PE attire or not. Because I don't understand conversations now due to the fact that I'm doing 4 things at once. But please check your Facebook inbox, cause something about pe attire and something about mizah doesn't like it and Quini and Fitri are wearing it... But then again I DON'T KNOW..

Anyway, regarding the vaccination against H1N1, we're gonna have ours on Tuesday (says Amal), so wear your respective P.E. uniforms on Tuesday. Though we don't know the time (whether it's in the morning or in the afternoon) because no one tells us anything nowadays

Oh and we have Bio Extra class on Monday and please bring your notes on plant something..

Firstly, We of the Bbogeh would like to say,'Happy Chinese New Year' to everyone especially to Elissa, Siau Nee, Cindy, Sin Wei, Boon and of course to our Chinese teachers, Mrs Tan and Miss Sia..

Which leaves me wondering if Sir Abu is either Chinese or Malay..

And also, Happy Birthday to our Form Captain, Zuh, Fazilah and also Fatin.~~(though it's a wee bit late)~~
May the taste of the oreo cake will stay in your heart (?)

and for the others, please pay $1 for the collection of the cake. To whom, I don't really know...

OK, I have 5 minutes to do this post.. So here it goes:

The syarat for June has been lowered. a.k.a. from 70% to 60%.. SO DON'T WRITE ANY MORE LETTERS TO MISS JENNY CAUSE SHE'S ALREADY STRESS.
Things to pay: School and ECA fund: $25, Physics past year papers: $10, Geography past year paper: $10 (pay to Quini), Reading room fund: $1, Class fund: $2.(more yet to come)
If your going to join the Belalong Trip, please check your email for the form.
The BGIC is now on.. so go to the english department for the form and for details.

And now for homeworks:

Maths: due on Monday so he wants the graph to be colored. preferable PINK
Chemistry: due on Monday
Biology: due on Saturday
Physics: due on Saturday (?)

ok.. now that's done.. ~~and it took me 8 minutes to finish this post..~~

Another Annoying Post

OK, I seriously don't know what to write since I'm reading a manga ~~(you really don't wanna know what it is)~~

So I guess, I should start with extra classes:

Monday: Physics and Biology
Wednesday: Maths
Thursday: Chemistry

Physics and Biology starts tomorrow so we're gonna go home at 4 T_T
I'm not really sure about Maths and Chemistry..

And now to the Teachers.. ~~(ugh)~~
These are the teachers who are replacing the teachers who taught us last year..

Heya :) this is like my first time posting on the blog (psst..i actually have free time now lol)

PS anything beyond here is pointless please feel free not to read any further
This is for tinah and CT, as i promised...

WHISKED SPONGE CAKE a.k.a SWISS ROLL
i must emphasize how much i love Swiss rolls with this pic [insert rawr here]

[i recite this in monotone]

Ingredients:
Eggs
Fine caster sugar
plain flour

The quantity and baking time is dependent on the egg to flour and sugar ratio

e.g:
2 eggs : 50g of sugar + 50g of flour
3 : 75g
4: 125g
so on...

Pointless stuff to do:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Line a baking tray with baking sheet

Whisk egg and sugar in a heatproof bowl until thoroughly blended
Place the bowl in a saucepan of simmering water till it is thick and pale
Remove the bowl from the saucepan
Continue mixing until the mixture is cool and leaves a thick trail on the surface
Add flavoring! <333
Fold in the flour carefully using a spatula until smooth Pour into the prepared tray and bake as required [These steps above are necessary for CT to cause mayhem]

pretty strawberry Swiss roll!

MERINGUES with DARK CHOCOLATE

WARNING : highly addictive sugary goodness!

Ingredients: 2 egg whites 1 teaspoon of lemon juice 150g of caster sugar 150g of dark chocolate, melted
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of vegetable oil

Line baking tray with baking paper
Preheat oven for slow baking

Beat egg whites, juice and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed for 10-15 minutes until it dissolves and can hold its shape
Spoon the mixture into a piping bag with a medium fluted tube
Pipe 5cm circles of meringue about 4cm apart on baking paper
Bake for 1 hour/until the meringues are dry and crisp
Cool on trays
While waiting for meringue to bake melt the chocolate in a heatproof glass bowl over a saucepan of simmering water
Dip Base of meringue in combines chocolate and oil
Leave to set on foil covered trays

Makes 12

LANGUES de CHAT

excusez-moi its in French
(CT should know what this is) for everyone else this means CAT'S TONGUE[insert ewwie here]
just kidding this what a not so cat tongue~ish version looks like...
Ingredients:
60g butter
110g caster sugar
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
50g plain flour

Line with baking paper or grease oven tray
i think the heat might be 180 or 200 degrees

Beat butter and sugar in a small bowl with an electric mixer until smooth
Stir in egg whites and sifted flour
Spoon mixture into a piping bag
with 5mm plain tube
Pipe strips of 8cm (wide at the end to make them look like a cat's tongue) on a tray
Tap tray on a surface firmly to spread mixture slightly
Bake in a hot oven for 5 minutes until edges are slightly browned
Leave to cool

Makes about 24

Today, the third week of june is the father's day. so, happy father's' day to all fathers out there.

HERE the history,

Father's Day is a special day for everyone! We use this day to honor our fathers all over the world! We celebrate this holiday on the third Sunday in June. A woman named Sonora Smart Dodd from Spokane, Washington, thought of the idea for Father's Day while listening to a Mother's Day sermon in 1909. Her father, Henry Jackson Smart, had raised Sonora after her mother died and she wanted him to know how special he was to her. Her father was born in June, so she chose that month to celebrate the new holiday!
